I love your ukulele rendition! Mony is so lucky! (I don't know if you're a fan of Jake Shimabukuro, but he got me into uke music and I got to see him play in person here in NYC.)
Kudos for the orange paint! Orange is known to stimulate positive feelings (which is why you see it so prominently in so many ads). I painted my dining room that same exact color and it always makes he happy to sit and eat there.

@J.T. - Thanks JT, yeah I'm very familiar with Jake. He was the one that inspired me to pick it up in the first place. I've actually learned to play his rendition of "Close to You" which I might record and put on youtube one of these days :D. I think he's dreamy...
re: Orange - I did a project on the color orange in design school. I learned a lot about the color, which is why I picked it for my wall. There's a reason why the holymen of the East wear orange robes. Our third chakra is represented by the color orange. And something about positive energy. I love my orange wall, I had the same color wall in my NYC apartment.
@Sol - thanks! There's something about surrounding yourself with beautiful things (at least what I consider beautiful) that makes me so happy. I make it a point to make my room the happiest and most comfortable place to be in (at least for me), so that no matter what the world throws at me out there, I can come home to a comfortable sanctuary.
